10 years ago today, my little brother was born. I seriously cannot believe time has just passed like [snaps] that. I understand now when parents say “it seems like only yesterday you were born.” Like, I can vividly picture him as a baby crawling down the stairs backwards like if only it was yesterday. Or him calling my twin brother and I, “Shay Shay ‘Neny (I guess he couldn’t pronounce ‘Kenny’ and yes he said our names together like that) to let us know Mommy wanted us. Changing my avatar to one of my favorite photos of him in dedication to his big day.
